Maitighar

Great Nepalese & Indian restaurant with a nice selection of delicious dishes. We got some papadams on the house and enjoyed the Samosa Chat as a starter. We then ordered four different dishes. The vindaloo, the madras, the korma and butter chicken. All were excellent! Some older reviews point to paella and tapas but these are not served here.

Great Spanish food. Watched the women’s World Cup with the staff. Overall wonderful food, great service, and nice conversation.

We stumbled into Matighar in Bruges and honestly, what a brilliant find. From the moment we sat down, we were looked after by a young lady who was nothing short of fantastic. Friendly, patient and genuinely knowledgeable, she helped us choose dishes, talked us through the menu, and answered every question we threw her way. You could tell she cared about the food and the experience, and it made a real difference. And the food… absolutely beautiful. Properly authentic Lebanese dishes, freshly made and bursting with flavour. There was plenty of it too, generous portions that still managed to feel refined rather than overdone. Everything tasted vibrant, balanced, and just right. Price-wise, it’s very reasonable, especially for the quality you get in a city that isn’t exactly known for bargains. The venue itself has a lovely feel, cosy, relaxed and with a nice buzz in the air without being chaotic. All in all, Matighar was one of those meals where everything just lands perfectly: great food, great service, great atmosphere. Would absolutely return.

Very nice place and food, the momos were excellent and it was the first time I saw a place which had sizzlers in Europe, but the sizzler was not sizzling like it was supposed to.

A very cozy place to visit in Bruges, with delicious foods made with extra care! The service was really nice as they let as sit, even though they were about to close the kitchen, and they served as pretty quickly and willingly to let us sit there without being in a hurry! The roasted potatoes are amazing! If you visit Bruges, definitely pay a visit!!
